Shamrock Egg

While the world knows Peter Carl Fabergé for his grand Imperial Easter Eggs, few are aware of his vast collection of miniature egg pendants . These delicate charms were incredibly popular in his time, often gifted to mark special occasions and celebrated for their artistry in small forms.

Captivated by this overlooked aspect of Fabergé's legacy, I designed the "Shamrock Egg" as a unique fusion: combining the sophisticated elegance of his miniature pendants with powerful Irish motifs.

This pendant, crafted in polished sterling silver, adopts the classic, graceful shape of those historical treasures.

The focal point is the centerpiece, where three genuine peridots with their vibrant, fresh green hue are set to form a perfect, brilliant shamrock.

The entire surface of the silver egg is enveloped in a deeply textured, continuous relief pattern of Triskelions. This ancient, traditional Celtic design, featuring a continuous threefold spiral, symbolizes progress, cyclical connection, and harmony, adding layers of meaning to this sculptural piece.
